The 2008 Astana Cycling Team is new from the ground up, and Bontrager is proud to be a part of that as the official component and wheel sponsor of the team. Tour winner Alberto Contador and American National Champion Levi Leipheimer both joined Astana after racing together for the Discovery team, following the leadership team director Johan Bruyneel. Through working with teams such as Astana who are in the highest professional ranks and who demand so much from their equipment, Bontrager is able to gain invaluable insight for product development.
